Syllabyte is a free, browser-based word puzzle game available at https://syllabyte.io. Players combine syllable tiles to form words, challenging their vocabulary and word-building skills daily.

## Game Modes

### Daily Challenge (/)
- New puzzle every day at midnight (local time)
- 5 words to solve
- Compete on global leaderboards
- Track your streak

### Warm-Up Mode (/warmup)
- Easier words for beginners
- Great for learning the game mechanics
- New puzzle daily

### Hard Mode (/hard)
- Challenging vocabulary
- 6 words to solve
- For experienced players

### Practice Mode (/practice)
- Unlimited puzzles
- No time pressure
- Perfect for skill building

## How to Play

1. Look at the syllable tiles in the syllable bank
2. Tap/click syllables to form a word
3. The word appears in the answer area
4. Submit when you think you have a valid word
5. Complete all words to finish the puzzle
6. Faster completion = higher score

## Scoring System

- Base points per word: 100
- Time bonus: Faster = more points
- Streak multiplier: Consecutive days boost your score
- Perfect game: Bonus for no mistakes
